Background
I was born and raised in the city of Niagara Falls and my family background is Italian. In 1973 my family came to Canada in hopes of prosperity and the freedom to pursue happiness. I have attended catholic schools my entire life. I have a high school diploma from St. Michael’s and a college diploma for Law & Security at Niagara College and I’m currently enrolled at Brock University studying Political Science.
As a child, my parents would find me continually watching the city council or federal debates. They would ask why it interested me so much, and I would reply to them saying that would be me someday. Ever since, I’ve been studying world history and politics. I constantly found myself in debates with my professors and peers when it came to politics or history.
I currently busy myself researching bylaws or studying the city minutes. I am proud to say during the 2006 municipal election I placed myself 14th out of 26th place, and was the youngest candidate. I always encourage the young to participate and to keep their head up with a positive determined outlook, because at the end it all comes down to their future. Do what makes you happy and meaningful in order to prepare ourselves for the future we need to establish the key components for that milestone now.
